On Saturday 26 January 2014, two Chrysalis Academy graduates left to spend 6 months in France on a cultural exchange programme. Lungulethu Menzi who graduated in 2012 and Vuyiwe Mgijima who graduated in 2013 were selected from a number of applicants to attend this fabulous learning opportunity.
They are part of a group of 10 other youth who come from Lovelife and the Amy Biehl Foundation.
We are so excited at this opportunity afforded to the Chrysalis Academy and wish our representatives every success during their 6 months. We look forward to them returning and sharing their experiences with staff and students of the Academy.
Our deep appreciation to our French partner CEMEA, the National Youth Development Agency and Lovelife for making this exchange possible.
