Jet marketing gives to needy children
The marketing division of Jet stores donated 17 boxes of much-needed clothing to the children at the Njabulo Children's Home in Maraisburg. The generous donation will be used to clothe eight boys and four girls.

The children at Njabulo Children's Home live with house parents, an overseer and a helper to monitor the proper functioning of the home. Their daily routine includes chores, prayer time, supervised homework times, outdoor play, meal times and recreational activities. They enjoy three balanced meals a day and are exposed to other stimulation programmes to enhance proper development. The home is funded by sponsors and donors, either through cash or by goods donations.
Says Vaneshree Naidu, marketing manager: Jet Club, Credit and Financial Services, "An Edcon employee suggested that the Jet marketing department assist the Njabulo Children's Home and we hope to continue supporting Njabulo for the rest of 2011."
