Please join us for our Women in Leadership Breakfast on 17 November.  Our 3 fabulous speakers are talking about what

Developing your Personal Brand means to them.

A brand is anything—a symbol, design, name, sound, reputation,

emotion, employees, tone and much more

Personal brands should be important to all of us, as our brand represents how we appear to the world. Therefore, it stands to reason that we should all be focusing on building a strong personal brand; one that will positively impact our ability to get the right jobs, promotions, access to clients and business as well as to increase our ability to attract talent and income/capital.

Personal branding, or the practice of individuals marketing themselves and their careers as brands, may seem to many to be an exercise in vanity.  Done properly, personal branding can be much more than simple self-promotion. It can be a vital exercise in establishing our credibility and courage as well as to help us define priorities and focus on those aspects of our lives that we enjoy most.

Whoever you are and whatever you do, a well-defined personal brand will help you to establish your leadership style and confirm how you want to be known both in and out of the workplace.

The Bottom Line - Building a personal brand takes time and effort, but it’s worth it.
