Image: Celebrating our First Event - celebrating 80 years of vision, vasbyt & innovation - Whats happening at St Josephs

On Human Rights Day, our first event to celebrate 80 years of healing was held. More than 120 former patients and staff joined the reunion. One of our goals in 2015 was to introduce monthly events to bring together ex-offenders from all over the Cape. On Saturday 28th March we had 19 ex-offenders come from all over Cape Town to play a soccer match against a Message Trust selected team. The game was a fantastic spectacle and ended up as a 6-6 draw!

One of the projects for 2015 is to put 25 kids on our Beautiful Future Project (an increase from 15 from this year). Each child: requires : shoes, shorts shirts, jerseys, socks etc.

We have also raised funds to feed 600 people for Christmas 2014. We are “short” of about R 12 000.00 to reach our target of 1000 people.         DONATE HERE
