Collect-a-Can's Collect-a-Book initiative will help transport children to the most joyful place – their imaginations. Collect-a-Can is back with their Collect-a-Book drive to donate more story books to selected underprivileged Gauteng schools in celebration of National Literacy Month. The Department of Basic Education revealed shocking statistics indicating that thousands of learners do not have access to story books. During Mandela Month, Collect-a-Can launched the Collect-a-Book initiative and challenged learners to read the story books donated to them. As a reward for sticking to the challenge, these schools will receive more books to fill their book shelves in celebration of National Literacy Month.   Read More...
