Paws thru the vine '18

We are super excited to announce our plans for this year's Paws Thru the vine! We will be holding our yearly walk on Sunday the 3rd of June at Spier Wine Farm in Stellenbosch. We have lots of surprises up our sleeve for this year's walk!

  •     Two trails available for the walkers: 5km & 10km
  •     LOTS of exciting stalls
  •     Dog groomer to wash and brush your doggie after the walk
  •     Kids corner with a face-painter
  •     Canine rehab specialists to give your woof a massage
  •     Raffle competition with LOTS of exciting prizes up for grabs
  •     Adoption dog show
  •     Prizes up for grabs for YOUR woof

Book your ticket today! The first 100 people who registers for the walk will receive a pawsome goodie bag on the day. Your ticket price includes a coffee and muffin on arrival.

Many members of the public seem to think that welfare organisations, especially those with veterinary hospitals, are there to provide cheap services using cheap materials and expired drugs. They also seem to think that our veterinarians aren’t real veterinary doctors, our staff are volunteers and the care of animals is questionable when with us. They also seem to think that we are obliged to help them, mostly for free and whenever they walk through our doors.   Read More...
