Managers Forum Summit: 25 February 2021

OBJECTIVES OF THE FORUM SUMMIT

 

  1. To bring together DSD funded Protective Workshops from all the different regions in the western cape.

 

  1. To help promote income generating programmes within the Protective Workshops.

 

  1. To provide the platform for business partnerships between government, the business sector and the disability sector (Protective Workshops).

 

  1. To provide a forum for networking amongst Protective Workshops.

 

  1. Empower Protective Workshop Management, to address challenges utilizing a developmental approach by:

 

  • Understanding the future of Protective Workshops as guided by Department of Social Development.

 

  • Observing principles of good governance as required by DSD /Funders / Dept Of Health Etc.

 

  • Understanding the legislative framework for Protective Workshops.

 

  • Promoting advocacy for a unified voice of the Protective Workshops.

 

  • Staying abreast with the 4th Industrial Revolution
