Meat Free Mondays is an international movement which raises awareness on the positive impact people can have on their health, environment and animals with their plate.
Addressing issues such as Climate change, deforestation, health and animal welfare; Meat Free Mondays South Africa has spoken to nearly 15’000 South Africans since 2013 and continues to grow across the country. The organisation is fully funded and initiated by Fry’s Family Foods.
Food Donations with organisations such Food For Life and Aryan Benevolent Home who feed thousands of hungry stomachs each day.

Collaboration Miss Earth and youth development organisations such as the Future Leaders of Climate Change to bring about positive change in areas around Kwa-Zulu Natal (Mandela Day activity).

Meat Free Mondays is now a mainstream concept with leading publishers, celebrities and restaurants across South Africa endorsing it.
Recent research suggests that as much as 62% of South Africans are aware of Meat Free Mondays with an increasing amount of people partaking in it.
Donations of food can be given to registered NPOs who show their commitment to serve and promote the interests of animals, the environment and humanity.
