The River Club is one of Cape Town’s most celebrated golf and conference venues. At the River Club, we combine

We offer state-of-the-art conferencing facilities, a fun 9-hole mashie course, a driving range and, of course, the River
Club restaurant. The Player’s Cafe and bar was recently voted the best pub lunch in the Western Cape.
Conference Facilities
 The River Club Conference Centre has nine rooms of various
sizes ideal for corporate conferences, exhibitions and business
events. Highly competitive rates and superior, personalised service
is our recipe for success. We offer a full professional service encompassing
audiovisual equipment, wireless internet access, fax and photocopying facilities.
Besides up to date audio visual equipment and great rooms, we offer an ambience
that is unrivalled in central Cape Town. The rolling lawns bordered by the Liesbeek
River create a country feeling just ten minutes from both the CBD and Cape Town International Airport.

Golf
The River Club offers a great 9-hole mashie course as well as a 90-bay driving range that will help you sort
out any kinks in your swing. The combination of a driving range and
a short course makes it the ideal learning and practice facility where
golfers at any level of expertise can improve all aspects of their game.
Our membership program caters for regular visitors and includes great
discounts on other golf and sporting facilities.
We also host an SA Golf Institute teaching academy with six professional coaches
that can assist you whether you are a beginner or a pro.
Golfing at The River Club offers all you need to improve your game:
- A 90 bay driving range, including 27 undercover bays protected from summer winds and winter rain
- A fun 9-hole, par 27 mashie course

Restaurant: The Player’s Cafe and Bar
The restaurant offers everything from an a la carte menu packed with interesting gourmet meals, to a variety of different
breakfasts for those early birds, as well as light snacks, salads and sandwiches for those midday munchies. The Players
Cafe is particularly famous for its Golfers Breakfast on the weekend. Included in this offer is a full buffet Breakfast as well
as a bucket of 100 balls or a round on the mashie course.
We also provide:

- An intimate pub with all the well known drafts on tap

Social development:
A socially conscious organisation, The River Club was recently awarded B-BBEE Status as a Level Seven Contributor.
The River Club is deeply committed to social transformation within South Africa. Since 2001, we have supported the
South African Golf Development Board (SAGDB), by providing facilities to underprivileged children coached by the
SAGDB. Every Saturday, around 100 kids girls from townships such as Gugulethu, Retreat, Khayelitsha and Bellhar
have free use of the practice facility and mashie course and are supplied with golf balls for their lessons.
