[Cape Town, South Africa – 5 November 2024] – The annual Axxess Landmarks Half Marathon and Fun Run took place on Sunday 3rd November 2024, drawing over 1 600 runners and supporters for a day dedicated to fitness, community spirit, and charity.
Co-organised by WPCC Running and Top Events, and generously sponsored by Axxess, Foresters Arms in Newlands, Princeton Security, Sportsmans Warehouse, and Openserve, the event successfully raised R25 000 to support the Amy Foundation’s transformative youth programmes. Additionally, a donation of soft plush toys will bring joy to children across the Foundation’s initiatives.
The funds raised will directly benefit the Amy Foundation’s after-school and youth skills development programmes, which provide essential educational, personal, and professional growth opportunities for young people in Cape Town’s underserved communities.
"We are thrilled to support the Amy Foundation in their impactful work," said Axxess Marketing Manager, Toinette Kouman. "Our involvement in the Axxess Landmarks Half Marathon and commitment to the Foundation reflect our dedication to empowering communities and making a difference in the lives of young South Africans."
