Someleze Educare Centre in Khayelitsha, Western Cape are in dire need of our help. This pre-school is a haven for 101 young minds who are eager to learn, grow and achieve their dreams, but their current situation is far from ideal.

I recently visited Someleze Educare Centre in Khayelitsha, Western Cape and they are in dire need of our help. This pre-school is a haven for 101 young minds who are eager to learn, grow and achieve their dreams … but their current situation is far from ideal.
The school is bursting at the seams, with only two cramped classrooms – with different age groups having to share the same limited space. The current makeshift structures are not only small but also unsafe, leaking during the rainy season, which makes them damp and uncomfortable. In winter, the classrooms become unbearably cold, while summer turns them into ovens. These conditions are far from conducive for learning and are robbing these children of the quality education they deserve.
We believe that every child deserves a nurturing and safe environment where they can learn, play and achieve their potential. That's why we are appealing to you today to help us provide Someleze Educare Centre with an additional classroom, the school’s most pressing need at the moment. By expanding their infrastructure, we can create a comfortable and inspiring space for these children to learn and grow, free from their current constraints.
