Let me tell you how Anda’s Journey developed
Anda joined the Sozo program in 2019, she fitted in and worked hard, but when her mother lost her job in Anda’s second last year of school, her motivation changed. She wanted to support her family, taking a late-night baking job after doing school and homework.
In 2022 she joined the Sozo Hospitality Internship Program, gaining skills, having access to inspiring mentors, and being exposed to various facets of tourism, hospitality, and business.
Through the Sozo internship journey, Anda was supported through the Sozo savings initiative to save diligently, giving her the ability to purchase a laptop and use the remaining funds for driving lessons, aiming for greater independence. She is currently in our Entrepreneurial program on the journey of starting her own business.
She expressed deep gratitude for her team at The Sozo Foundation, considering it a safe space for learning, sharing life experiences, and personal growth. Anda's journey and the impact she continues to make on her own family and the community has been nothing short of incredible.
