Cape Town are facing floods of epic proportions.
As soon as the SA Red Cross Society had news of this flooding we immediately sprung into action by training the vulnerable how to mitigate the damage that would be caused. Problem is that there are just so many as the facts have revealed – with densely populated areas and the inadequacy of drainage infrastructure the damage is wreaking havoc!
As it is the team of the Red Cross in the WC is working 24/7 to alleviate the plight of the communities affected. BUT – we cannot do it without your help. To this end – we humbly appeal to individuals and corporates to treat this as Mandela Day and give generously now! Madiba would have understood !
