SA REDCROSS EVENT OF THE YEAR

The Red Cross Society WC’s annual fundraising High Tea and Auction (on 5 July) was a roaring success.
Some of Cape Town’s finest talent performed in the Vineyard Hotel’s beautiful setting, while an abundance of delicious High Tea cuisine and superb wine flowed. All money raised goes to funding the critically important community services the Red Cross provides in the Western Cape.
Local TV celebrity, Katlego Maboe, was hugely entertaining as the MC and sang a spectacular and utterly mesmerising rendition of Angels accompanied by world-class violinist, Yinka Vitula. Dr Steve Harris captivated the audience with this riveting speech.
Tracey Botha, Fundraising and PR Manager, says, “We are so proud of this first-class event. People really got their monies’ worth, and it is all for a great cause. We hope that worthwhile, entertaining events like this will build our brand as one that offers excellent value for money, while raising money for a worthy cause. Look out for our next one!”
