With your support, Greenpeace Africa staff and volunteers are campaigning for a ban to stop the use of highly toxic pesticides in our food. These pesticides are banned in the EU and other countries due to their health and environmental impacts. |

WHAT’S NEXT? The Pest Control Products Board (PCPB) has requested comments from the public on pesticides in the Kenyan market. This review comes after the recommendation by the National Assembly Health Committee to analyse pest control products in Kenya, with the aim of banning those that are carcinogenic, mutagenic, neurotoxic, and endocrine disruptors.
A few days ago, Greenpeace Africa submitted comments to the PCPB. Stay tuned for more on this!
Make it clear to the Kenyan government that our health is more important than corporate greed! Encourage your friends and community to support toxic-free food in Kenya. |
