Shiloh Education - proof of success in what we do – we prepare children for life not only for school

I would like to share two stories to show what a huge impact you, as a donor, are making.
A good education can change anyone. A good teacher can change everything.
As Project Manager in Wallacedene, I would like to thank each and every donor for their contribution towards Shiloh Synergy’s cause in delivering a world-class education opportunity to the less fortunate children in our community.

There are times when one may feel overwhelmed with all the “stuff” going on and become disheartened. However, I can honestly say that even in these challenging times – 2020 and current – every donor contribution and every effort put into this cause is making a huge difference in the lives of the Wallacedene children.

I would like to share two stories to show what a huge impact you, as a donor, are making.

Story Number One:
At the end of March 2021, the parent of a new child who had enrolled with us came to speak with me in the office.
He asked, “When will Shiloh be starting a Grade 1 class?”
I asked him why he was asking this specific question. He replied that he was REALLY IMPRESSED with our school and did not want his child to leave and go to another school. His child had attended an ECD centre in Wallacedene during 2020 and all they did there was eat, sleep and play. In the two months that his child had been with us, he could already see the positive impact our curriculum was having. He did not want him to leave. He wanted him to continue to Grade 12!

As we are currently only catering to Grade R-level, I helped him to find a similar kind of curriculum close by, but I had to inform him (tongue-in-cheek) that it would not be of the same calibre as our JES (Jubilee Excellence Schools) curriculum! He left the office demanding that we bump up to Grade 12…

This made my day and year so far!

Story Number Two:
We regularly receive feedback from parents whose children attended our ECD Centre in Wallacedene, where we teach our children according to the JES (Jubilee Excellence Schools) curriculum, which is a combination of Jubilee, Montessori and Government curricula.

We received the following WhatsApp message from the parent of Trust, who completed Grade R with us in 2020, and who attained an average of 79,3% in his class for the 1st term of 2021.

We all know what an extremely difficult year 2020 was for our learners. The following message is yet more proof of the JES curriculum’s effectiveness. It never ceases to amaze me!

to thank you guys on the way how you teach our kids look what Trust is doing now in grade 1 can you show his previuse teachers .I realy appreciate you laddies .Keep it up.
We are so proud of what our ex-learners achieved in the main stream schools!

I would personally like to thank each and every donor for contributing towards our cause, and for enabling us to give children a good, strong educational foundation so that they can reach heights some may have thought unattainable due to a lack of opportunity and access to proper education.
